Are we in a paradigm shift in real estate marketing? Does it penetrate other markets where you are selling or renting, or leasing a “space”? Are you aware of it?

There is a movement that has been going on many of us are aware of. It has been so slight that we haven’t noticed how far it has moved. We are aware that 90% of home searches begin online. Are you aware how many are competed that way without even entering the house?

Whether you are selling houses, condos, commercial, businesses, or hospitality, it doesn’t matter. This new product will change how you market your business and those who ignore it, will find other work to do. What am I talking about?

Moving beyond the usual 2D photos taken on a mobile phone, or cheap camera to immersive 3D 360 video that puts the viewer in control. The buyer, visitor, guest can use their mouse to see the space. We at 3D 360 Homes are already there. We want to help you if you are showing and selling anything with walls or sides to anybody.

Some innovative auto dealers have displayed their high end luxury cars this way. Yacht brokers have employed this technology to market their vessel to a global audience. Hotel and resort managers see that many want to “inspect” the space before they book it. If it has sides or walls, we can do it.

Have You Ever Considered the Alternative?

Imagine you have been contacted by a home owner who wants you to sell their most prized possession. No, not their car, boat or kids. Their house. This is probably the most expensive asset they have.

You have a choice. You can get equipped to do the right thing, or you can do like the rest of the herd. Take a second and look at THEIR competition online. Are the photos dark, sideways, cropped too much, or showing too much “stuff”? That is the norm. Even listings priced in the 7 figures, the photography is still 1980’s and it shows.

Consider the Alternative. There is drone photography. There is professional photography with lights and filters to make the drab colors pop. Now there is another avenue. Put your seller’s property in front of the buyer’s eyes-wherever they ¬†are, whatever time it is, in spite of the weather. Go all out and put it in VR goggles!

Set the trend. Start the awareness. One call does it all saving you time and $$ while putting the property on the market for less time than the average and selling for more than it too. Make a difference in your listings. Go make a “do-over” for your current listings. Bring in a Matterport Service Partner-before the seller does it to you.

How bad is it? or How good can it be?

I currently wear two hats. One as a real estate brokerage owner. The other as an MSP. That is the issue. I know how bad it is out there for houses being marketed.

The surveys continually reveal that print advertising is fruitless. Digital is fruitful.

If that is well known, and I believe it is, why do brokerages spend so much on Sunday ads? Why do agents spend so much time advertising open houses and sitting in them waiting for the perfect buyer?
